It has been in the high 70's for the past day and as we arrive into Fairbanks, the temperature hits 82. We get the last room available in a Super 8 Motel and are grateful to step out of the heat and into the cool of air conditioning.
We rest, unpack, shower, work for a brief time and then walk alongside the Chena River as the sun is setting.
