From the delicious diversion of Hatcher's Pass, we continue north towards Fairbanks, spending late afternoon in the small town of Talkeetna, noodling through galleries and having lunch.
Continuing north, we pass mile after mile of lush, green landscape, traveling beneath alternating clear blue and rainy grey skies. We stop for the evening at the Denali North View campsite, tucked into the camper and listening to the heavy rain pound on the metal roof. Sleep comes easily.
