Our small community puts on a huge Faire, hosted by the Homer Council on the Arts, complete with arts and crafts from local and state-wide artisans. There's also two weekends of performances by local dancers performing in the Nutcracker Ballet.
This weekend is the kickoff of the holiday shopping season for many, including me, and is a great opportunity for socializing, supporting the local art community and more. I'll be at the Faire all weekend dressed as an elf, photographing Santa Claus with kids and families.
