26 Days 2: My Mother's Day Near-Death Experience

Sick in bed all day, I ventured out in the late afternoon to nearby Green-wood Cemetery to enjoy the fresh air.  I was delighted to find the cemetery painted in spring's colors.  Wandering aimlessly for hours, I missed closing time and spent two hours walking from one locked exit to another, until finally a patrolman let me out.

To celebrate my freedom, I enjoyed a sinful treat at Dunkin' Donuts on my way home and back to bed...
