Cobwebs and Fireweed Delight

This morning, we are preparing to head down the road and off into our month-long adventure. 

It rained all night and now there is a gentle fog caressing the hills behind the house and enveloping the Spit in front of us.

I wander the yard in search of cobwebs that are more easily found after a rain and I am not disappointed. And the fireweed with its hot pink flowers, ah, it is another glorious summer morning in Homer, Alaska...
