Christina Whiting: Homer, Alaska, United States; Hello and welcome to my blog. In 2011, I flung myself from the shores of "safety", leaving all of my various jobs and setting out to follow my muse. Since that time, I have walked the 500-mile Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trail in Spain numerous times, spent a year living in New York City, learned to get over my fear of water while simultaneously learning to dive, created a life of work and play as a freelance writer and photographer, shifted my photography focus from landscapes and wildlife to my real love, portraits, nearly completed my first book of essays, and am now once again heeding the call to wander. I am a restless spirit and a story collector who responds to the wind that nips at my heels. This blog is dedicated to all the adventurers out there, armchair and otherwise, who leap, sometimes thinking things through, other times, riding on the wings of faith. Wherever, you are, whatever you're doing right now in this crazy wild Covd-19 world - you matter and you're doing great!
