Hello from Brooklyn!

I spent most of the day inside, resting, reading and writing.

I'm fighting a serious cold so laying low, though that's so hard when I just got here... 

Ventured out to walk the neighborhood a few hours ago, as the sun was setting.

Area is great: quiet, park and cemetery both 5 min walk, lots of shops, deli, laundromat, library, yoga studio, grocery store, playground - all within one block.

Off to bed to try to kick this bug!
