I love New Yorkers. I spent the evening with my friend Jamee and her family. Hour after hour was filled with laughter and wonderful conversation, as well as a soak in their delicious hot tub and great food at a Orion's Diner.
I met Jamee in line at Coney Island's Wonderwheel on opening day last April and have been a big fan of this Momz N Da Hood member ever since! She says I'm a Momz member in the making...
Momz N Da Hood are women over 50 who dance hip hop. Jamee and her group are coached by Lance, a former football player. These girls really know how to kick it up, literally! Check them out in this youtube video. (It was taken before Jamee joined the group so she's not in it). If you ever have a chance to see Momz N Da Hood perform, go for it and you'll be enthralled and maybe even inspired...
